Meryl Streep/ Meg Ryan Themes :) <3
• Name: Lauren
• Are you over thirteen? 19
• How would you describe yourself? (includes strengths and flaws):

♥ Analytical Thinkers:
-Reserved, quiet persons.
-Like to get to the bottom of things
-Modest persons with sharp intellect, quickly and comprehensively grasp patterns, principles and structures.
-Analytical Thinkers like to work alone; their ability to concentrate is more marked than that of all other personality types.
-Analytical Thinkers have little interest in everyday concerns - home and workplace are chaotic, only concerns himself with banalities such as bodily needs when it becomes absolutely unavoidable.
-The acknowledgement of their work by others does not play a great role for them; in general, they are quite independent of social relationships and very self-reliant.
-Analytical Thinkers therefore often give others the impression that they are arrogant or snobby - especially because they do not hesitate to speak their mind with their often harsh (even if justified) criticism and their imperturbable self-confidence. Incompetent contemporaries do not have it easy with them.
-Whoever succeeds in winning their respect and interest has a witty and very intelligent person to talk to. A partner who amazes one with his excellent powers of observation and his very dry humour.

Introverted, theoretical, logical, spontaneous, rational, analytical, intellectual, sceptical, pensive, critical, quiet, precise, independent, creative, inventive, abstract, eccentric, curious, reserved, self-involved, imaginative, determined, modest, careful, incommunicative, witty.

♥Enegram Type Three:The Achiever:
-The "stars" of human nature,
-People often look up to them because of their graciousness and personal accomplishments.
-They are usually well regarded and popular among their peers, the type of person who is frequently voted “class president" or “home coming queen”
-Threes act as living “role models” and paragons because of their extraordinary embodiment of socially valued qualities.
-Threes will try to become somebody noteworthy in their family and their community. They will not be a “nobody.”
-They want success because they are afraid of disappearing into a chasm of emptiness and worthlessness: without the increased attention and feeling of accomplishment which success usually brings, Threes fear that they are nobody and have no value.
-The problem is that, in the headlong rush to achieve whatever they believe will make them more valuable, Threes can become so alienated from themselves that they no longer know what they truly want, or what their real feelings or interests are. In this state, they are easy prey to self–deception. From their earliest years, as Threes become dependent on receiving attention from others and in pursuing the values that others reward, they gradually lose touch with themselves. Step by step, their own inner core, their “heart’s desire,” is left behind until they no longer recognize it.
-Thus, while they are the primary type in the Feeling Center, Threes, interestingly, are not known as “feeling” people; rather, they are people of action and achievement. It is as if they “put their feelings in a box” so that they can get ahead with what they want to achieve. Threes have come to believe that emotions get in the way of their performance, so they substitute thinking and practical action for feelings.
-Threes report that when they realize to what extent they have adapted their lives to the expectations of others, the question arises, “Well, then, what do I want?” They often simply did not know; it was not a question that had ever come up before. Thus, the fundamental dilemma of Threes is that they have not been allowed to be who they really are and to manifest their own authentic qualities. At a young age, they got the message that they were not allowed to have feelings and be themselves: they must, in effect, be someone else to be accepted. To some degree, all of the personality types have been sent the same message, but because of their particular background and makeup, Threes not only heard it, they began to live by it. The attention they received by performing in a certain way was their oxygen, and they needed it to breathe. Unfortunately, it came at a high price.

Positive adjectives: Playful, fun,  quiet, serious, gentle, sweet, intelligent, independent, a dominant personality, strong.
Negative adjectives: I also don't like to be told I'm wrong and if I think someone is talking down to me, I'll immediately become a bit of a smartass. I'm also a workaholic. I'm also proud and don't like to be controlled.
• What are you passionate about? Literature, languages, writing, politics, tea, reading, sports, nature, life, traveling, adventure, history, period pieces.
• Pet Peeves? Rude people, drunkards.
• What are you not so good at? I don't believe anyone's bad at anything. I just think they haven't tried hard enough.

• How do you view love? I'm a romantic. But a cautious one..
• Are you more trusting or more cynical of others? I am trusting, but I can be cynical if people give me reason to be.

Mature or not so mature: Mature.
Confident or Insecure: Confident.
Brave or Coward? Brave.
Night or Day? Both.

What is your style in fashion? Between asthetically strong (think 19th century Dandy) and Parisian minimalistic. I'm growing more and more girly, but I still love strong, simple classical styles.

Introverted or Extroverted: Introverted, but not afraid to voice my mind.
Lover or Fighter: I believe you have to fight for love.
What are your dreams for the future? To be a writer and translate texts while traveling to different museums, dig sights, etc. I already speak three languages besides English and am working on my fourth this term at school, and next semester I plan on learning my fifth. I'm currently taking a World Literature and Classics degree in school to do so, which involves a lot of languages, reading and traveling. It's brilliant <3 I want to live in London.
What do you look for in a mate? Intelligence, a strong personality, a temper, a sharp , dark wit and sense of humor, and protectiveness.
If you could change one thing about you, what would it be? I wouldn't. Faults build character.
A quote/lyric/song/saying that's important to you?
'Only the gentle are truly strong.'-James Dean

• Favorite movie she was in? Meg Ryan? "You've Got Mail". For Meryl, I love her in everything. I can't WAIT to see her in "The Iron Lady", it will be AMAZING.

• Least favorite movie this actress was in? None.
• Least favorite character? I actually do like all their characters. They're strong women, and I like that. I love both of them.
• Favorite outfit actress has worn in a film or on red carpet (photos/links to pics are definitely acceptable)?
-goes to search-

That red dress in Moulin Rouge <3

• Do you admire this actress or are you not fond of her? I LOVE both, but I in particular love Meryl, just because she's such an amazing actress and seems like such a warm and genuine, real person.
• What's your favorite couple she's been a part of (can be canon or fanon)? I loved the fact that Meryl was engaged to John Cazale in the seventies. They were both such fantastic actors and it was so sad that he passed away so early in life due to cancer. I think if he have been able to make more films they would've been such a power couple together and such a great pair. They were so in love and it was so sad that he died before his time without any nominations to his name, after being in such films as "The Godfather" and "Dog Day Afternoon."

As for Meg, I really don't know much about her personal life, so I'd probably say she was adorable with everyone she's paired with, from Tom Hanks to Demetri in "Anastasia", LOL XD I have such a love for Anastasia though, so I'd probably say with Demetri, even though he is a fictional character XD -blushes-

• Anything else you feel needs to be said?  Nope! :) An explanation would be loved. So happy stamping is up and running again! :)
• Post your picture(s)if you want to here

I'm a goofball |D -facepalm- -blushes-
